Individual Lessons

15-Minute Lessons

Under special circumstances, pre-school age children who have outgrown their group lesson setting in terms of playing level, may be offered an individual 15-minute lesson slot, once or twice a week. Semi-private lessons may also be an option.

The 15 minute slot may be extended to 20 minutes for children who have started note-reading. However, 20 minute slots are only available in conjunction with (back-to-back with) two other 20-minute students, thus filling 60 minutes altogether.

30-Minute Lessons

Once the children reach a certain age and playing level, group lessons may no longer be appropriate, and the students receive weekly individual 30-minute lessons. If needed, these lessons can be supplemented by additional lessons with an assistant teacher or practice sessions with an approved student mentor. The students continue to attend repertory classes.

Older beginners starting with an associate teacher may, at the discretion of the teacher, receive 30-minute lessons.

45-Minute Lessons

Advanced students studying group as well as solo repertory with Ms. Mann may be considered for a 45-minute slot. Assistant teachers may give 45 minute lessons as well, at their discretion.
